Job summary

Egis is seeking a Senior Site Supervision Engineer to lead day-to-day construction activities on an aviation-related project in Saudi Arabia. You will oversee civil, structural, architectural, and MEP works, coordinate with contractors and stakeholders, and ensure safety, quality, and timely delivery.

The role requires a Civil Engineering or Architecture background with 15+ years of site supervision experience in complex projects, preferably aviation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant construction and site supervision experience, preferably on major and complex projects.
• Proven track record of successful project delivery in large-scale construction projects.
• Proven experience working on aviation/airport projects is required.
• Demonstrated experience in Construction Management and Site Management with direct oversight of contractors and multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, sequencing, quality management, HSE requirements, and project controls.
• Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in Saudi Arabia and international codes.
• Proficiency in site management tools (Revit, AutoCAD), document control platforms (Aconex), and MS Office.
• Excellent English communication skills; Arabic a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee day-to-day construction activities, acting as the Client/Consultant’s primary site representative.
• Coordinate Contractor’s site activities to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and standards.
• Monitor progress against project schedule and identify delays or risks.
• Coordinate across Civil, Structural, Architectural, and MEP disciplines.
• Review shop drawings, submittals, method statements, RFIs, and other docs.
• Conduct regular site inspections and ensure quality and safety standards.
• Collaborate with Contractor, Client, consultants, and authorities.
• Identify design discrepancies and coordinate timely resolutions.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports and site records.
• Support HSE and QA/QC teams during construction activities.
• Lead meetings with client representatives and contractor management.
