Job summary

A progressive food delivery company in Riyadh is seeking a Construction Manager to oversee projects in the Food & Beverage sector. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and 5-7 years of relevant experience, ensuring compliance with building codes and safety regulations. What you’ll do
  • Oversee the construction, execution, and delivery, ensuring compliance with project specifications, timelines, and budgets.
  • Manage and coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project teams to ensure smooth execution of works on‑site.
  • Monitor construction progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions to mitigate delays and cost overruns.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international building codes, safety regulations, and quality control standards.
  • Lead site inspections, audits, and quality assurance checks, ensuring adherence to approved designs and specifications.
  • Collaborate with the design and engineering teams to resolve technical issues and implement value engineering solutions.
  • Oversee health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards, ensuring a safe and compliant work environment.
  • Manage project reporting, including progress updates, risk assessments, and resource planning.
  • Review and approve contractor submittals, RFIs, change orders, and work schedules.
  • Lead stakeholder meetings and ensure alignment of construction activities with project goals and client expectations.
What we’re looking for
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in construction management, with at least 3 years spent in Food & Beverage or restaurant construction
  • Proven experience managing BOQ (Bill of Quantities) and costing across various scopes (e.g., Civil, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, Gas).
  • Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, and industry standards.
  • Hands‑on experience in project planning, budgeting, risk management, and cost control.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage large teams, contractors, and client interactions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office or GoogleDocs, and construction management software.
  • Experience with FIDIC contracts, project scheduling tools (Primavera P6, MS Project), and quality control processes.
  • PMP or CCM certification is a plus.
Fluency in English and Arabic is essential
