Accor is seeking a Finance professional to support the Director of Finance in overseeing daily hotel finance and accounting operations in Jeddah. The role covers financial reporting, month-end close, and compliance across VAT and local regulations.

The ideal candidate has 5–10 years in Finance/Accounting within hospitality, with strong Excel and hotel-system experience, and the ability to lead and develop the Finance team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• SOCPA membership/certification preferred; CPA, CMA, or equivalent is an advantage.
• 5–10 years of progressive experience in Finance/Accounting, preferably within hospitality.
• Luxury hotel experience is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, P&L, reconciliations, and internal controls.
• Good knowledge of Saudi VAT, ZATCA, and local financial compliance requirements.
• Experience with hotel systems such as SUN, Opera, Micros, or similar is preferred.
• Advanced Excel and financial reporting skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with operations and senior management.
• Ability to lead, coach, and develop the Finance team.
• High level of accuracy, integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.

Responsabilités

• Support the Director of Finance in overseeing day-to-day finance and accounting operations.
• Prepare and review monthly financial statements, P&L analysis, and management reports.
• Support month-end and year-end closing and ensure timely financial reporting.
• Review balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, provisions, and accounting transactions.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow monitoring, and variance analysis.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, internal controls, SOPs, and accounting standards.
• Monitor revenue, expenses, costs and departmental performance; highlight major variances or risks.
• Support payroll recording and reconciliation.
• Assist with internal and external audits and documentation.
• Ensure VAT and ZATCA compliance.
• Supervise and develop the Finance team; training and workload management.
• Collaborate with operational departments to provide financial guidance and controls.
• Act as key support to the Director of Finance and assume responsibilities as required.

Support the Director of Finance in overseeing the hotel s day-to-day finance and accounting operations

• Prepare and review monthly financial statements management reports P amp L analysis and performance reports
• Support month-end and year-end closing and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
• Review balance sheet reconciliations journal entries accruals provisions and accounting transactions
• Support budgeting forecasting cash-flow monitoring and variance analysis
• Ensure compliance with hotel financial policies internal controls SOPs and accounting standards
• Monitor revenue expenses costs and departmental financial performance and highlight any major variances or risks
• Support payroll review and ensure accurate recording and reconciliation
• Assist with internal and external audits and related documentation
• Ensure compliance with Saudi financial and tax requirements including VAT and ZATCA
• Supervise and support the Finance team including workload training and development
• Support recruitment onboarding performance management and development of Finance team members
• Work closely with operational departments and provide financial guidance and controls
• Act as a key support to the Director of Finance and assume departmental responsibilities when required
