Role Summary
We are searching for the best talent for Area Sales Manager Central Region. The Sales Manager leads and manages the Vision Care business in the Central and Eastern Region of Saudi Arabia, developing and executing local business strategies to maximize customer acceptance, market penetration, and overall sales growth of the Vision Care product portfolio. The role identifies current and emerging market trends, uncovers new business opportunities, and ensures effective implementation of regional marketing and business plans, including successful product launches. The Sales Manager oversees and supports a team of direct reports by setting clear goals and objectives, establishing development plans, and fostering both professional and personal growth to ensure individual and team success.
Responsibilities
- Overall leadership of the Field Sales Force
- Field Coaching & development for Field sales force
- Plan, prioritize and implement sales activities to meet annual BP objectives ensuring Gross and Net IMS achieved in the market
- Lead and evaluate activities of sales representatives, providing advice, counsel, coaching and information/direction regarding agreed actions they need to undertake within the territories; responsible for sales targets achievement in Central & East region of Saudi Arabia as well as contribution to total MEA results
- Monitors progress and verifies corrective action has been initiated when necessary
- Empower and influence the team
- Establish incentive plan parameters and sales goals; recommend ad hoc plans and contests
- Lead recruitment, selection and training within the team
- Collaborate closely with other company functions to perform duties and aid business and organizational development
- Prepare sales forecasts and regular sales reports reflecting the activities of the assigned area
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management
- Demonstrate success and experience in handling customers and achieving genuine sales development
- Analyze, suggest & implement ways of improving customer engagement & happiness; resolve difficult problems and customer complaints
- Develops & builds strong and effective senior customer relationships; build relationships with key decision-makers for new and established accounts
- Plans to ensure objectives are met; coordinates and performs economic and competitive analyses
- Ensure that the organization is Credo focused, has passion, and is motivated to win
Qualifications / Requirements
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, e.g. Sales/Business related trainings accomplished
- 5 years+ of relevant proven experience in Sales Management
- Experience in people leadership
- Ability to understand, build and communicate effective sales meeting flows
- Understanding of Key Account Management and a good grasp of marketing and category management
- Ability to drive strategy and change while implementing, analyzing and reporting on numerous concurrent projects
- Proven ability to build strong business relationships and alignments with external and internal partners
- Flexible to travel
- Experience in a multicultural environment with a strong track record of achievements
Technical/Functional Skills Required
- Fluent in English & Arabic (written and spoken)
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of SFDC
