ROLE SUMMARY

The Area Manager is responsible for leading and developing store teams in alignment with brand and company strategy, overseeing operations, driving sales, controlling costs, and ensuring top-tier retail standards to deliver an exceptional customer experience. providing managerial direction for the success of the stores, and provides the customer with an ‘outstanding’ shopping experience.

ROLE PROFILE
  • Ensure sales and operational goals and expectations are achieved through regular monitoring.
  • Responsible for ensuring that store managers and their staff keep stores to the highest possible standards, are well organized and properly merchandised at all times.
  • chieve sales targets through a proactive commercial agenda, developing and planning new business initiatives that drive overall sales and business improvement.
  • Monitor cash flows, sales performance, inventory control, cash sales receipts and operating records.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all customer service initiatives are in place, resolving issues quickly and courteously
  • Guide the Store Managers to ensure the key priority targets and goals in customer service are consistently achieved.
  • Monitor stock control to ensure store shrink is within company guidelines to protect company property and assets.
  • Provide critical analytical feedback on store performance at the weekly / monthly trade reviews together with the Brand Director.
REQUIREMENTS
  • High school certificate
  • Qualification in Retail related field is an added advantage
  • 7+ years’ experience in retail operations with minimum 3 years in Store Management role
