WSP is seeking a Saudi National Architect Engineer to join our Supervision Department for an exciting project in Riyadh. This role supports our commitment to nationalization and the growth of local talent in Saudi Arabia.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified Architect with 5+ years post-graduate experience in KSA or GCC supervision roles, preferably with a recognized global architectural consultancy. Candidates with experience in reputed contracting companies are also encouraged to apply.
• Previous experience as an architect, with detailed knowledge of post-contract supervision, review of shop drawings, submittals, and site inspection procedures, coordinating with clients and PMC.
• Experience reviewing architectural designs, shop drawings, materials submissions, method statements, and samples, ensuring adherence to concept & IFC drawings during construction.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, BIM.
• Experience working on commercial, residential high-rise, or tall tower projects.
• Saudi National.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and supervise on-site construction activities to ensure alignment with approved designs and plans.
• Conduct regular site inspections to assess progress, identify issues, and ensure compliance with local codes and regulations.
• Collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, and project stakeholders for effective communication and coordination.
• Address design-related issues during construction in consultation with the design team.
• Implement quality control measures to meet standards and expectations.
• Inspect materials, workmanship, and components for compliance with standards.
• Maintain detailed project documentation, including reports and as-built drawings.
• Generate and submit regular progress reports to the project manager or client.
• Identify and resolve issues promptly to keep the project on schedule and within budget.
• Work with the design team to resolve discrepancies or modifications during construction.
• Lead and supervise on-site teams, fostering collaboration and efficiency.
• Support team members to ensure alignment with project goals.
