Job summary

SAMREF Saudi Aramco Mobil Refinery Company Ltd. seeks a technician to perform refinery analyzers maintenance, testing, calibration, and fault diagnostics across interlocks and shelter systems.

The role includes supporting callouts, emergencies, shutdowns, and projects as needed. Preferred candidates hold an associate degree or diploma in Process Operation & Chemical Analysis Technology, with fresh graduates or those with up to 2 years of related experience.

Job description

To perform refinery and associated facilities maintenance of process analyzers, gas detectors and analyzers shelters interlocks per Samref procedures and work instructions. This includes testing, calibration, fault diagnostics, repairs installation and preventive maintenance in addition to supporting callouts, emergencies, shutdowns and/or projects as required.

Regular Assigned Duties:

• Perform Analyzers work in accordance with industry and site practice, equipment strategies and/or TQMs work instruction in a quality manner that meets their intent in improving equipment availability, mitigate risks scenarios and enable continuous safe and reliable refinery operations.
• Carry out daily analyzers and/or analyzers shelter routine (e.g carrier cylinders change out, sample flushing as required, sample conditioning system check for leaks,flow, press, temp, etc.) checks.
• With senior tech assistance for complex repairs, carry out PM/calibration, troubleshoot and repair of Ametek 880-NSL(no sample line), air demand ADA 900 H2S / SO2 tail gas analyzers, Ametek ASOMA 682T-HP total sulfur analyzers and Thermo Scientific SOLA II and Metorex C100 Sulphur analyzers.
• With senior tech assistance for complex repairs, carry out PM/calibration, troubleshoot and repair Siemens AA MAXUM, advanced and D86 simulated distillation GCs.
• Comply with Samref related SHE, OIMS and T1BP policies and procedure and safety critical rules.
• Effectively use Samref SHE tools JLA, JSD, CARE, safety leadership meetings, learnings from SAI and Near Miss reporting. Promote and encourage commitment toward safety practices compliance among colleagues.
• Maintain good work site housekeeping prior to leaving the site.
• Complete your assigned activities per daily schedule and according to group leader directions and keep him informed of status, progress, problems and related concerns.

Education:

Associate degree or diploma in Process Operation & Chemical Analysis Technology or equivalent.

Experience:

Fresh graduate or with less than 2 years of related experience.
