Job summary

Confidential Company in Saudi Arabia seeks a skilled aircraft maintenance technician to inspect corrosion, perform X-ray and magnetic inspections, and conduct routine and special inspections as required by regulations.

You will prepare and paint aircraft surfaces, remove/install components, cure bonded structures, and maintain repair logs. Requires a technical diploma in electronics or mechanical or a high school diploma with related experience.

Qualifications

  • Experience inspecting corrosion, cracks, and wear on airframes.
  • Ability to perform X-ray and magnetic inspections.
  • Able to read and interpret maintenance manuals and service bulletins.
  • Experience repairing or replacing components using hand tools and precision instruments.
  • Cure bonded structures and perform drilling, riveting, and welding as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect airframes and components for wear, cracks, leaks, or other defects.
  • Perform routine and special inspections per regulations.
  • Prepare and paint aircraft surfaces.
  • Remove, repair, or install in-flight refueling stores and external tanks.
  • Maintain repair logs documenting preventive and corrective maintenance.
  • Read and interpret manuals to determine repair methods.
  • Accompany aircraft on flights for in-flight adjustments.

Job description

Check for corrosion distortion and invisible cracks in the fuselage wings and tail using an X-ray and magnetic inspection equipment

Clean refuel and change oil in line service aircraft

Conduct routine and special inspections as required by regulations

Prepare and paint aircraft surfaces

Remove inspect repair and install in-flight refueling stores and external fuel tanks

Examine and inspect aircraft components including landing gear hydraulic systems and de- icers to locate cracks breaks leaks or other problems

Trim and shape replacement body sections to specified sizes and fits, and secure sections in

place, using adhesives, hand tools, and power tools.

Accompany aircraft on flights to make in-flight adjustments and corrections.

Cure bonded structures, using portable or stationary curing equipment.

Inspect airframes for wear or other defects.

Install and align repaired or replacement parts for subsequent riveting or welding, using

clamps and wrenches.

Maintain repair logs, documenting all preventive and corrective aircraft maintenance.

Measure parts for wear, using precision instruments.

Measure the tension of control cables.

Obtain fuel and oil samples and check them for contamination.

Read and interpret maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and other specifications to

determine the feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged

components.

Read and interpret pilots' descriptions of problems in order to diagnose causes.

Remove or cut out defective parts, or drill holes in order to gain access to internal defects or

damage, using drills and punches.

Replace or repair worn, defective, or damaged components, using hand tools, gauges, and

testing equipment.

Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations.

Undertake any other functions assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Technical diploma "Electronics or Mechanical" (Experience: WE 2 Years / RF 0 Years / SR 0 Years) or

High School (Experience: WE 6 Years / RF 2 Years / SR 0 Years).Any Aircraft License is required
