Job summary

BAE Systems in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Fuel Systems Maintenance Technician to perform and supervise maintenance on Engine, Propeller and Fuel systems for RSAF training aircraft. The role includes hands-on servicing, troubleshooting, modifications, and inspections at the intermediate level, plus on-the-job training for local staff.

Successful candidates will engage with RSAF data systems, ensure safety and FOD compliance, and participate in training programmes under government-to-government

Qualifications

• Graduate of a military service, or recognised civilian organisation, aircraft technical training institute.
• Extensive experience or graduation from Royal Saudi Air Force recognised training provided by BAE Systems or other recognised civilian organisations.
• PC9/PC21 Aircraft Systems Training courses or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide operationally capable aircraft in support of RSAF pilot training programmes by servicing, fault troubleshooting, modifications and inspections at the intermediate maintenance level.
• Support Workshop equipment servicing, troubleshooting, modifications and inspections at the intermediate maintenance level.
• Offer technical support in evaluation and determination of corrective actions and status of aircraft systems and test/support equipment at the intermediate level.
• Provide informal and formal on-the-job training for RSAF and BAE Systems Saudi National personnel to enable Saudisation of maintenance operations.
• Obtain and maintain certifications to support specialty and aircraft maintenance functions.
• Become conversant with RSAF data management systems and RSAF safety programmes.
