Job summary

Lenovo Group CTO KSA R&D Center invites applications for an AI Research Scientist to shape the next generation of intelligent systems across robotics, autonomous platforms, smart environments and industrial AI.

You will research, develop and deploy advanced AI solutions spanning computer vision, multimodal architectures and Edge AI, transforming ideas into scalable real-world technologies powering intelligent automation.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Mathematics, AI, or related field.
≥3 years of experience deploying ML, computer vision, or agentic AI from research to production.
Proficient in Python; experience with C++ and AI deployment on edge or cloud platforms.
Expertise in computer vision techniques: detection, classification, segmentation, tracking, and sensor fusion.

Responsibilities

Research, develop and optimize AI, ML, CV, and agentic AI solutions for real‑world applications.
Design perception systems including object detection, classification, segmentation and tracking.
Build AI capabilities for robotics and autonomous systems including localization and navigation.
Develop and integrate LLMs, VLMs, multimodal models and AI agents for intelligent reasoning.
Deploy and optimize AI models across edge and cloud environments balancing performance and cost.
Evaluate emerging AI technologies and establish prototypes, benchmarks and metrics.
Collaborate with global teams to translate research into production-ready solutions and IP.
