Job summary

Cigna Saudi Arabia is hiring an Actuarial Analyst based in Riyadh to support pricing and analytics across the Middle East and Africa markets. The role collaborates with Sales, Underwriting and Product Development on actuarial initiatives and regulatory submissions.

Ideal candidates hold an actuarial-related degree, are progressing toward associate credentials, and have strong English communication. Travel may be required to support regional teams.

Qualifications

• An undergraduate degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Finance or a related field.
• Progress towards Associate credentials with IFoA or SOA.
• Commitment towards pursuing Fellowship qualification.
• Self-motivated with results-driven mindset.
• Good communication and attention to detail.
• Not more than 3 years of work experience.
• Working knowledge of health insurance concepts is advantageous.
• Experience with MS Office and data analytics tools (R/SQL/Alteryx) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Data analytics, reconciliations, and processing.
• Actuarial pricing for MEA region, including studies and rate reviews.
• Support analytics on medical cost drivers and trends.
• Develop, test, and maintain pricing and underwriting tools.
• Support monthly financial close and reserving processes.
• Assist with regulatory submissions.
• Collaborate with Sales, Client Management, Underwriting and Finance.
