Job summary

A trading and supply services company in Al Khobar is seeking an experienced Accountant to manage finance operations. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in accounting and have at least 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in the trading or retail sectors. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with Saudi VAT regulations are crucial. The role involves overseeing accounts payable and receivable, preparing payments, and ensuring compliance with local laws. Immediate availability is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in an accounting role.
  • Experience in trading or retail is preferred for better understanding of inventory and cost management.
  • Transferable Iqama is required.

Responsibilities

  • Manage accounts payable and receivable.
  • Prepare payments, including online bank transfers.
  • Handle petty cash.
  • Perform bank and general ledger reconciliations.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing.
  • Monitor inventory counts and manage stock records.
  • Prepare and reconcile monthly VAT submissions.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and local laws.
  • Support external audits.
