We are looking for an "Account Manager" for a leading Advertising group. The Account Manager should have solid experience with Automotive clients. The position will be reporting to the Account Director.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Coordinate the planning and execution of advertising activities
- Guide day-to-day development of advertising activities within approved plan.
- Ensure progressive stages are approved with adequate time to meet schedules.
- Coordinate with media, creative, and the account group so that workflow is managed seamlessly, and deadlines are adhered to.
- Consult with creative, media, and strategy to communicate client objectives and to troubleshoot any challenges.
- Submit cost estimates to client for approval.
- Serve as liaison between client and the agency teams
- Ability to manage workload, accomplish tasks and manage others.
- Clearly communicate updates and developments to managers and cross functional teams.
- Maintain a positive and forward-thinking attitude.
- Demonstrate a strong ability to coordinate the day-to-day of the client deliverables including organizing, retaining and management of relevant account documents, scheduling important internal and external meetings, and helping to maintain client financials.
Skills and Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in Account Management
- Graduate in any field, a degree in the advertising/communications field will be preferred
- Knowledge of the advertising industry, creative and production aspects
- Strong influencing style and executive presence; articulate and confident
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Persuasive ability and assertiveness while dealing with tricky issues
- Strong interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
- Ability to analyse and interpret information
