Responsibilities

• Perform simple routine maintenance and follow up on equipment to ensure smooth operations.

• Handle own day-to-day tasks in the technical area to ensure continuity of work.
• Assist more senior staff with daily operations.
• Log maintenance requests via service reports and update the system.
• Respond to faults and perform simple maintenance checks.
• Use appropriate spare parts to restore service quickly, especially during emergencies.
• Conduct preventive maintenance according to schedule and maintenance cycles.
• Refer major maintenance needs to supervisor for scheduling.

Job description

• The jobs in this level are responsible for conducting simple routine maintenance and follow up on equipments to ensure smooth flow of operations and well maintained equipments
• Follows all relevant Technical instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner
• Follows the day-to-day operations related to own jobs in the Technical to ensure continuity of work
• Performs limited assignments to support the more senior staff in their daily operations
• Feeds the required information of maintenance request through service reports to ensure the maintenance of an updated system at all time
• Responds to faults and failures in the equipments to conduct simple maintenance check-ups
• Utilizes proper spare parts to ensure high quality of standards is met and services are reactivated in short period of time especially during emergencies
• Performs preventive maintenance on equipments in buildings according to established schedule and maintenance cycle
• Refers major maintenance requirements to the supervisor in order to schedule corrective maintenance within the suggested accepted timeframe
• Complies with all relevant safety quality health and environmental procedures to ensure a healthy and safe work environment
