Overview

Hopmann Marketing Analytics GmbH is a boutique consultancy specializing in digital analytics, data engineering, data science, and data visualization, based in Munich-Neuhausen. We support clients across telecommunications, automotive, IT, medical, and retail sectors in analyzing marketing and corporate data to develop action-oriented, data-driven solutions. We aim to make data accessible through meaningful visualizations, ad hoc reports, and sophisticated analyses.

We are seeking a proactive (Senior) Marketing Science Consultant to understand and communicate our vision, integrate it into daily operations, and contribute to the ongoing development and success of the data engineering team. Salary range: 55.000-70.000 EUR, depending on skills, qualifications and experience.

Responsibilities

  • You consult with clients to gather, understand, and analyze their requirements and business objectives, define use cases, and develop technical solutions aligned with strategic goals.
  • You design and implement or enhance measurement frameworks to assess marketing performance and enable data-driven decision-making.
  • You plan, implement, and analyze incrementality tests to measure the impact of marketing efforts and provide recommendations to maximize strategies.
  • You lead, plan, execute, and deliver complex data projects, ensuring they meet timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • You provide technical, professional, and personal support to team members.
  • You collaborate with colleagues from Data Visualization, Digital Analytics, and Data Science teams to develop innovative solutions.
  • You create impactful presentations and deliver insightful training sessions and workshops for clients and colleagues.

Requirements

  • A university or technical college degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Several years of professional experience as a Data Engineer, Data Analyst, or Data Scientist within the marketing sector.
  • Hands-on experience designing, implementing, and maintaining marketing measurement frameworks and controlled experiments.
  • Experience in building or working with attribution models, marketing mix models, and incrementality testing.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and either Python or R.
  • Good project management skills, excellent analytical abilities, and strong communication skills.
  • Fluency in both German and English, written and spoken.
