Global Account Director (Automotive)

Responsibilities

  • You conduct ongoing executive mapping exercises to ensure alignment across key internal and external groups.
  • You provide thought leadership and strategic co‑innovation ideas, and challenge customers to think differently and offer alternative industry‑specific viewpoints.
  • You set the organizational tone for building and maintaining long‑term strategic customer relationships and driving larger impact for the customer.
  • You lead the creation of long‑term strategies aimed at building a level of loyalty that would be hard for competitors to overcome.
  • You bring greater customer/partner ecosystem together with the customer to discuss how to enrich the customer’s value to their customers, and create mutually agreed upon roadmaps on how to capture innovation/transformation within strategic accounts.
  • You proactively explore and uncover technologies, confirm customer interest, understand where Microsoft may not be able to compete, and learn how key customer competitors compete within their respective space.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree AND experience working in an industry (e.g., Automotive, Education) and/or driving digital transformation.
  • Master’s Degree AND experience working in an industry (e.g., Government, Education) and/or driving digital transformation.
  • Experience working in an industry (e.g., Government, Education) and/or driving digital transformation.
  • Experience making recommendations to and/or collaborating with mid‑to‑senior level executives.
