About the Role

Are you someone who gets excited about shaping what comes next in technology? We’re looking for an inventive and forward-thinking professional to join our systems development division. In this role, you’ll act as a trusted technical partner to leadership—helping design the software architecture of the future, scouting emerging technologies (especially around AI), and guiding their practical adoption across our product ecosystem.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Architectural Leadership: Define and evolve the structure and direction of our software and system architecture—establishing best practices, design patterns, and technical standards.
• Technology Research: Track market developments and identify how new tools and frameworks, particularly in artificial intelligence, can enhance our applications and processes.
• DevOps Enablement: Streamline and automate development pipelines (CI/CD) and champion improvements to our deployment workflows and infrastructure.
• Mentoring & Coaching: Offer technical guidance to development teams, support code reviews, and ensure architectural consistency across projects.
• AI Integration: Design and oversee the implementation of machine-learning and AI solutions—from prototype through production rollout.

What You Bring

• Solid background in software architecture, with experience designing complex, scalable systems
• Excellent command of Java and the Spring Boot framework
• Strong skills in frontend development (Angular + TypeScript)
• Practical experience with modern DevOps stacks, ideally including:
• Docker (containers)
• Git / GitHub (version control & collaboration)
• GitHub Actions (CI/CD automation)
• Familiarity with SQL and/or NoSQL databases
• Analytical mindset and conceptual clarity
• Confident communication in German (C1 or higher)
• A collaborative, proactive, and solution-focused working style
