Senior Python developer

We are looking for a Python Developer for a HealthTech startup building a Conversational AI platform. The company is growing rapidly and is supported by leading universities and major international corporations.

Tech stack: PostgreSQL, Python, FastAPI, GCP, Terraform, LangChain

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the evolution and scaling of a HIPAA-compliant backend infrastructure
• Design and deploy health data pipelines and integrations with EHR systems (FHIR, HL7)
• Optimize database performance and query efficiency
• Continuously improve reliability and observability with better monitoring and alerting

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Python (including async programming)
• Ability to design and optimize backend systems—not just follow specs
• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure and infrastructure-as-code (GCP + Terraform)
• Solid expertise in robust API design (Flask / FastAPI) and CI / CD pipelines
• Deep knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL)
• Familiarity with serverless architectures
• Strong understanding of security best practices
• Fluent English (C1 level)
