Omnivise T3000 is a control system in the energy market. As Siemens Energy’s flagship control solution, it plays a crucial role in driving the global energy transition. In your role as Product Manager Automation for the T3000 Control System, you’ll be a key member of a multinational team responsible for shaping the system’s future.
You will define features that are desirable, viable, and feasible while ensuring they meet customer needs throughout the product life cycle. By gathering both qualitative and quantitative insights on market trends, user preferences, and customer requirements, you will inform both business and technical strategies, guiding the creation of the feature backlog and the overall design of a control system built to support the energy transition.
How You’ll Make An Impact
- Serving as the Substation Automation Expert for the Omnivise T3000 control system, with collaboration within a multinational team
- Demonstrating passion and ownership of all phases of the lifecycle of Substation Automation features
- Playing an integral role within a distributed team of Product Management Experts, contributing valuable insights to the Omnivise T3000 product
- Collaborating with the T3000 System Architect and agile teams to drive Substation Automation aspects of the product
- Participating in sprint planning, sprint reviews, and team coordination meetings with Product Managers and Product Owners
What You Bring
- University degree or equivalent experience in electrical engineering or computer science
- Understanding of the energy market and implications for control systems
- Proven expertise in substation automation and SCADA systems
- Track record in Product Management or related fields
- Knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management, quality attributes (usability, security, safety), and regulatory and legal aspects
- Professional written and verbal communication skills in English; German is a benefit

Our Gas Services division offers low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. We bring together zero- or low-emission power generation solutions with gas turbines, steam turbines, and generators, focusing on modernization and digitalization of the fleet.
