Permanent Group CFO Position

Düsseldorf - 3 days on site

Starting date as soon as possible

Privatal is currently working with a private equity fund for their portfolio company in IT Service & Consultancy to find a new Group CFO for their buy-and-build platform.

Responsibilities

• Lead and integrate the finance function across the group, building up finance teams and introducing structures for the group.
• Act as sparring partner to the CEO and think strategically with the private equity fund.
• Lead integration of group entities, optimize synergies, and support, guide, and drive performance across entities.

Qualifications (must-have)

• Background as Group CFO, with direct report to the head of accounting, controlling, tax, legal, etc.
• Background in IT Service & Consultancy, Media Agency, or other Consultancy-oriented companies
• Hands-on experience in building up the finance function and the group’s finance teams, establishing structures as Group CFO
• Experience as a sparring partner to the CEO and ability to think strategically with a private equity fund
• Experience in integrating group entities, optimizing synergies, and driving performance
• Ability to speak German and English at native/fluent level

Nice-to-have qualifications

• Background in a private equity portfolio company
• Background in driving a private equity exit
• Background in an international company
