Responsibilities

• Analyse, design and develop applications based on complex architectures using modern technologies (Microservices, Docker, Cloud, Java/Jakarta EE or Spring Boot).
• Collaborate closely with business units/Product Owners of our clients to plan and realize demanding projects in an agile environment.
• Take on project leadership of development teams.
• Track current trends and evaluate new technologies, tools and frameworks.
• Develop components and interfaces for data exchange with various technologies.
• Embrace new challenges with creative problem solving for complex task environments.
• Share knowledge as part of our Leitmotiv: teach colleagues, students, and project teams; contribute to the ORDIX Blog, speak at seminars or conferences as appropriate.

Your Profile

• (Fach-) Hochschulabschluss in Informatik or a comparable qualification with at least 6 years of Java development experience
• Strong knowledge of Spring/Spring Boot or Java/Jakarta EE
• Experience in database development with JPA, Hibernate and SQL
• Experience with application servers such as JBoss/Wildfly
• Strong skills in container technologies like Docker, Kubernetes and OpenShift
• Practical experience with web service technologies such as SOAP and REST
• Basic knowledge of CI/CD technologies such as Docker, Jenkins or GitLab
• Team-oriented work style and code reviews are natural for you
• Initial experience in leading project teams
• Strong analytical and conceptual abilities and good communication skills
• Very good self-management
• Perfect German in speaking and writing, plus good English skills
