Overview

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Sales Engineer to lead the sales initiatives for Nephrolyx’s products and services, primarily targeting the USA and DACH markets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical technology sales, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to identify and develop business opportunities across both clinical diagnostics and pharma R&D sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth in the USA and DACH regions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including laboratories, pharmaceutical companies, hospitals and clinics.
  • Promote Nephrolyx’s clinical trial services to pharmaceutical and biotech clients, highlighting the advantages of our GFR measurement solutions in drug development and renal safety studies.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns that effectively communicate the advantages of Nephrolyx’s products and clinical services.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and provide training to clients and partners.
  • Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to identify new business opportunities in diagnostics and clinical trial services.
  • Prepare and present regular sales forecasts and reports to management.
  • Participate in industry conferences and networking events to promote Nephrolyx and its offerings.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Business, or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a sales or business development role within the medical technology or healthcare sector.
  • Proven track record of successfully selling diagnostic products or medical devices or clinical research services.
  • In-depth knowledge of renal diagnostics and GFR measurement methodologies is highly desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Experience with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively and lead a sales team.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong experience in marketing strategies for medical or clinical research products.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to medical device and clinical services sales in the USA and in Europe.
  • Fluency in German and English; additional languages are a plus.
