General Position Summary & Responsibilities

This position has the objective to achieve best results in all aspects of safety management and to coordinate and manage all quality management actions. The holder of this position has the overall responsibility for maintaining and developing the Management Systems within the frame of the Group strategy.

In this function as Safety Officer (SiFa) the employee (m/f/d) reports directly to the managing directors of REEL GmbH. As being part of the Group’s QMHSE organization this position has a functional reporting line to the Group QHSE Director. This position develops consistent safety practices aligned with long term safety targets of the Group. It combines the responsibility for implementing safety programs for all assigned locations, minimizing company’s safety risks by establishing and enforcing effective safety policies; developing a proactive safety culture and engaging management commitment to drive the appropriate behaviours.

In this function as Manager of the Management Systems (m/f/d) the employee has the responsibility to maintain and develop the existing management systems according to the needs of the business and the Groups strategy. A close and trustful cooperation with the Group QHSE Director is essential for this task. Additionally the compliance with the legal framework of Germany and the EU concerning work safety and CSR has to be ensured and appropriate procedures have to be implemented.

We are currently seeking a dedicated QHSE Director (m/f/d) to join our team at our Veitshöchheim location in a full-time capacity. Key Responsibilities

Management Systems:

• Oversee QHSE Management Systems (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001) for REEL GmbH and other locations.
• Lead and manage the QMHSE team, ensuring certification standards are maintained and developed.

Health & Safety Compliance

• Ensure compliance with German/EU laws for all subsidiaries.
• Monitor legal changes and report to management.
• Organize safety meetings and liaise with relevant authorities.

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

• Maintain compliance with CSR laws (e.g., CBAM, energy consumption).
• Manage reporting requirements and carbon footprint assessment.

Additional Responsibilities

• Ensure legal compliance for REEL GmbH and subsidiaries.
• Handle facility management and budget for HSE & Management Systems.
• Control safety equipment procurement and management.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

Hard Skills

• Strong knowledge of ISO standards and German regulations.
• Experience in audit management and implementation of management systems.

Soft Skills

• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Hands-on, pragmatic approach; fluent in English and German (French is a plus).
