Associate – Private Equity (Software Focus) – Munich

A leading mid-market private equity investor based in Munich is looking to strengthen its investment team with an Associate hire. This opportunity comes via a third-party retained search partner, and is ideal for candidates with a passion for long‑term investing in the technology and software sector.

The firm has a strong track record in supporting founder‑led businesses and entrepreneurial growth stories across the DACH region. With a flexible capital base and long‑term investment approach, the team focuses on value creation through operational improvement and digitalisation.

We are seeking candidates who bring:

• 2–4 years of professional experience from a top‑tier investment bank, or a leading private equity firm
• A strong interest or prior exposure to the software and technology sector
• Analytical rigour, commercial acumen, and excellent communication skills
• A team‑oriented mindset and entrepreneurial spirit
• Fluency in German and English
• A desire to be based in Munich and contribute to a collaborative and high‑performing culture
