Overview

Join to apply for the Senior Data & AI Consultant (f/m/d) role at E.ON Digital Technology.

As part of our technology in-house consulting, Expert Services, you will collaborate with business units to accelerate E.ON's Digital Transformation strategy and green transition through digital innovation. You will join an international team of data scientists and engineers and consult business stakeholders on technical feasibility while implementing state-of-the-art machine learning solutions.

You will work with cutting-edge resources and platforms (Azure, AWS, Databricks, OpenAI, among others), with opportunities for free training and certification.

Responsibilities

  • Driving new Data & AI initiatives by collaborating with business stakeholders, identifying challenges, and translating them into actionable technical requirements.
  • Partnering with data professionals, business analysts, and infrastructure experts to design and deliver scalable data and AI solutions across all E.ON countries with global impact.
  • Taking ownership of technical projects, ensuring high data quality, code quality, and that solutions meet specified requirements.
  • Maintaining stability and excellence through agile methodologies, peer code reviews, and continuous feedback loops.
  • Evaluating emerging data technologies to integrate state-of-the-art machine learning solutions and analytical modules into operational cloud environments.
  • Developing reusable artificial intelligence models to increase efficiency and reduce time-to-market.
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in data science, AI, and technology trends to drive innovation.

Your Profile

  • Extended years of experience as a Data Scientist, with a degree or PhD in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong consulting and communication skills, able to transform business challenges into actionable data strategies and adapt messaging for diverse audiences, especially in client interactions, presentations, and workshops.
  • Hands-on coding experience with processing large datasets, time series analysis, optimization algorithms, and building NLP models in Python. Proficient with ML tools (scikit-learn, XGBoost, DL frameworks) and capable of validating models and implementing scalable pipelines on Spark/Databricks and Azure ML.
  • Passion for scientific inquiry and problem-solving through data, with motivation to deliver practical solutions that meet business needs.
  • Proven experience implementing end-to-end data pipelines, from data ingestion to deployment of analytical models in cloud environments; Azure experience is a notable advantage.
  • Familiarity with Git and CI/CD workflows; Azure DevOps is a bonus.
  • Experience with visualization tools such as Streamlit or Power BI is advantageous.
  • Fluent in English and German.
