Job Description

As Head of Finance at jameda, you are the financial steward and strategic business partner for our operations. You own the full financial agenda: steering, planning, forecasting, and cash flow management. You serve as a critical advisor to the CEO and the German leadership team.

How would you be impacting our mission?

  • Demonstrated success in driving financial performance, operational efficiency, and strategic resource allocation.
  • Proven experience in leading and developing high-performing Finance teams across multiple disciplines.
  • Expertise in designing and implementing financial systems, processes, and automation to support scalable growth.
  • Strong command of financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting across complex and dynamic business environments.
  • Experience supporting business model innovation, pricing strategies, and investment analysis.
  • Sound knowledge of German accounting standards (HGB) and regulatory frameworks.

Qualifications

What Will Help You Succeed

  • MBA, or similar university degree with specialization in Finance.
  • 8 years or professional experience, thereof at least 2 years leading a team.
  • Experienced in FP&A, Accounting, and Controlling.
  • Hands-on experience with finance systems such as DATEV, Netsuite, or Pigment.
  • Knowledge of BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, Superset and Excel/Google Sheets wizardry.
  • Strong ability to interpret data and connect it to financial outcomes.
  • Native German, fluid English language skills
  • Team player, collaborating effectively with business functions such as Marketing, Sales, and CCS.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and commercial acumen.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of working with senior leadership and stakeholders across all functions.
  • Proactive, hands-on leader with a high degree of ownership and accountability.
  • Data-driven mindset and continuous improvement orientation.
  • High integrity, discretion, and a clear sense of responsibility in managing sensitive financial information.
  • Adaptability in fast-changing, entrepreneurial global environments.

This role will be based in our Berlin office (min 2 days in office / week).
