Overview

We are looking for a Legal Counsel Intellectual Property (f/m/d) to join our E.ON SE team as soon as possible. If you are interested, please apply directly online.

Responsibilities

  • IP Advisory Role: Contact person in the field of intellectual property law for specific units especially in the areas of Research & Development, Marketing and Partnerships
  • Contract Management: Drafting and negotiating contracts in this area of law, in particular Research & Development and license agreements as well as any M&A activities, reviewing IP clauses in contracts related to commercial law and supporting in contract drafting matters
  • Legal Counseling: Advising business units on all other aspects of intellectual property rights, e.g. in collaboration with our patent colleagues
  • Intellectual Property Protection: Promote the protection of E.ON’s proprietary technology by obtaining, enforcing and defending trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets and other intellectual property on a worldwide basis
  • Knowledge Management: Further development of IP-knowledge base and standard clauses in collaboration with our legal operations colleagues

Qualifications

  • Professional qualifications: A German degree in law and “Volljurist (2. jur. Staatsexamen)” as a minimum
  • Experience: Professional experience of at least 2 years in the field of intellectual property
  • Specific expertise: Good understanding of business contexts and interest in products and their marketing
  • What sets you apart: Distinct willingness to perform and ability to work in a team
  • Organizational Communication: Comfortable working with teams of various leadership levels across the organization and strength in effective communication
  • Language skills: Business fluent in English and German
