Overview

To strengthen our development team located in Wietmarschen-Lohne or Osnabrück, offering flexible working hours and the option for home office, we are looking for a Senior Product Manager (all genders welcome) in the field of Upstream Optimization. Upstream optimization, an innovative division of the Rosenxt Group, spun off in 2023 and dedicated to expanding into new business areas, focuses on developing advanced technologies for the optimization of energy production. Our state-of-the-art flow measurement device is a clamp-on non-intrusive system, gathering extensive real-time operational data. To evaluate this data, we develop cloud-based software solutions that utilize classic signal processing algorithms and artificial intelligence (AI). In our interdisciplinary, agile, and autonomous teams, we foster innovations and customer value.

What You Can Expect

  • Define and prioritize product features and roadmap aligned with business goals
  • Own the product backlog and ensure clarity and feasibility as well as maintaining of user stories, epics and features
  • Collaborate with SCRUM/Nexus teams to drive agile development cycles
  • Interface with stakeholders to gather feedback and translate needs into product requirements
  • Ensure seamless integration of hardware, AI models, and software components
  • Oversee product testing, validation, and client rollout
  • Plan and communicate product roadmap

What You Bring

To become part of the Rosenxt family, you are team minded and convinced by an independent and structured work behavior. Moreover, you should bring with you:

  • Master’s degree in a technical or economic field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Product Manager or similar in complex product development
  • Proven experience with agile methodologies (SCRUM, Nexus)
  • Background in hardware development is a plus
  • Deep skills in requirement engineering and scope management
  • Strong analytical, strategic, and coordination capabilities
  • Ability to lead and collaborate with international, cross-functional teams
  • Empathetic, recipient-oriented communication and confident stakeholder engagement
  • Willingness for occasional travel to clients and/or conferences
  • Ability/Willingness to develop understanding on topics beyond your professional domain

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in the Oil and Gas industry; preferably with an operator
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in a technical environment
  • Ability to translate technical capabilities into client value propositions
