Procurement Category Lead – MRO Services (Europe)

Role: As MRO Services Category Lead, you will partner with operational teams and business leaders to shape and deliver long-term procurement strategies aligned with ADM’s goals. You will leverage market intelligence, risk analysis, and supplier relationship management to build innovative sourcing solutions and drive value.

Responsibilities

  • Translate market intelligence, business goals, and spend analysis into strategic sourcing opportunities.
  • Build strong stakeholder engagement through transparent communication and alignment on objectives.
  • Set and track category metrics and savings targets, reporting progress to key stakeholders.
  • Act as a change agent, positioning procurement as a value-driving function.
  • Prepare and manage RFI/RFP processes, analyze supplier responses, and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Lead supplier negotiations on pricing, terms, quality, and service.
  • Drive compliance through KPIs, supplier relationship management, and quarterly business reviews.
  • Expand contractual coverage to optimize contractor spend.
  • Collaborate with risk, HR, and compliance teams to ensure alignment with policies, laws, and regulations.

Your Profile

  • Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, or related field.
  • 7+ years’ procurement experience, including 2+ years in regional/global category management or strategic sourcing.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); other languages a plus.
  • Proven experience in multinational environments.
  • Strong negotiation skills, with expertise in complex agreements and contract law.
  • Ability to develop advanced category strategies and deliver measurable results.
  • Skilled at managing multiple projects independently in dynamic environments.
