Overview

We need a senior Android engineer to support our growing user base and work on new and exciting projects. The role is strategic, fast‑paced and highly product‑focused.

What You’ll Do

• Own major features and collaborate closely with design.
• Shape the future of our Android team.
• Maintain and improve reliability metrics for key features.
• Participate in cross‑team discussions (Product, Design, Engineering).
• Review pull requests and support teammates.
• Handle critical issues or unexpected challenges.
• Take ownership of releases and provide nightly builds for QA.

Ideal Candidate

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Familiarity with Android components and Kotlin.
• Experience building or contributing to at least one Android app.
• Strong product design intuition and user empathy.
• Drive to push the boundaries of Android UI/UX.
• Understanding of testing and how to write tests.
• Self‑drive to improve the app and codebase beyond the spec.
• Rock‑solid experience with Kotlin, Coroutines, Flow, Dagger 2, MVVM, Clean Architecture, background services and Jetpack Compose.
• Excellent communication skills.
• User‑oriented problem solving.
• Continuous feedback mindset.

Bonus

• Open‑source Android contributions.
• Experience with iOS, Web or NodeJS.
