Reliability Engineer (m/w/d) – Position Overview

Responsibilities

• Conduct systematic root cause and weakness analyses to improve the efficiency and reliability of process technology machines and equipment.
• Develop and implement measures to enhance the efficiency and reliability of individual machines, equipment parts, or entire production lines.
• Ensure compliance with legal and corporate maintenance frameworks (e.g., BetrSichV).
• Collaborate in the further development of the maintenance strategy to reduce costs and increase efficiency (e.g., maintenance planning optimization, downtime reduction).
• Support the KPI objectives for the maintenance area.
• Assist operations and plant design teams with technical, legal, or conceptual questions and with the optimization of manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• Completed engineering degree with focus on process engineering, mechanical engineering, or a comparable field.
• Professional experience (also during studies) in operational processes and maintenance is desirable.
• High technical understanding and enthusiasm for independent knowledge expansion in technology-relevant topics.
• Methodical and structured working style.
• Excellent problem-solving and judgment ability.
• High degree of independence and sense of responsibility.
• Good English proficiency in spoken and written.
