We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and motivated Partner Solutions Architect (AI/Apps) to drive our partner’s security transformation within the E&MA Enterprise Partner Solutions (EPS) team! This is a partner-facing role, owning the apps focused technical relationship and strategy between the partner and Microsoft.
As a Partner Solutions Architect (AI/Apps) you will play a pivotal role in guiding our most significant partners to design and implement innovative scalable, secure, and efficient cloud architectures that meet market needs. Leveraging your technical leadership, cloud computing, problem solving, and systems architecture skills, you will ensure that solutions are optimized for performance and cost-efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Guide Solution Development & Activation – Lead the development and activation of new or enhanced partner offerings that align with Microsoft Cloud priorities, ensuring solutions are robust, scalable, secure, and tailored to meet evolving customer needs.
- Empower Innovation – Run technical innovation workshops, tech briefings, and envisioning sessions to build technical intensity across partner teams. Collaborate with engineering and product teams to accelerate adoption of emerging technologies and shape partner offerings that align with business goals and technical requirements.
- Strategic Sales Enablement – Activate transformational deals by providing architectural guidance, resolving technical blockers, and enhancing solution design. Contribute directly to cloud workload consumption and revenue impact.
- Champion Technical Excellence – Guide partners through architecture design sessions, proof‑of‑concepts, and MVP builds. Ensure solutions follow Microsoft’s Cloud and AI best practices and are optimized for performance, scalability, and security.
- Thought Leadership & Stakeholder Management – Build long‑term engagements with strategic partners, influence their adoption of Microsoft technologies, develop deep technical relationships with CXOs, and foster executive alignment to support joint success.
- Partner Enablement & Business Acumen – Coach partner technical teams to embed pre‑sales, deployment, and consumption in solution development. Help partners build resilience to technical challenges, navigate competitive landscapes, and translate technical concepts into business value.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field AND experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, IT consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting OR equivalent experience.
- Proven ability to lead or contribute to the delivery of complex, deep technical projects in customer‑facing environments, ensuring successful outcomes in remote or distributed settings.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field AND extensive experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, IT consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting.
- Experience working in a customer‑facing role (e.g., internal and/or external).
- Experience working on technical projects.
- Technical Certification in Cloud (e.g., Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google, security certifications).
