We are seeking aSenior Firmware Engineer to lead our firmware and edge applications into a new era. This is a high-impact role for an individual with a deep understanding of embedded systems and IoT.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead the replatforming of our firmware and edge applications to a single, unified EdgeX platform.
- Grow the Edge platform by integrating new devices, expanding edge capabilities, and implementing AI on the edge.
- Actively participate in the architecture board, shaping the future of our technology and fostering in-house expertise.
Key Qualifications
- Programming: C++, Java
- Communication: BLE, Wi-Fi, NFC, LTE interfaces; deep understanding of OSI layer protocols
- Business Domains: Access control, Time and attendance (nice to have)
- Languages: English (professional) is required; language skills in Spanish, German or Dutch are a plus
