Senior Account Manager for our office in Weinheim, Germany. As a Senior Account Manager, you are the driving force behind growth and customer satisfaction within SPIE Spectades. Your primary responsibility is to achieve revenue growth by strategically building and maintaining customer relationships. This includes acquiring new clients as well as strengthening existing partnerships. You identify and capitalize on market opportunities, advise on (new) products and services, and actively create value through up- and cross-selling. In addition, you contribute to planning and developing commercial initiatives that expand SPIE Spectades ’ market share. In this role, you report directly to the Manager Sales & Business Development.

Responsibilities

  • Identify market potential and qualify accounts by developing strategic account and annual plans.
  • Gather and analyze strategic market information by monitoring competitor products and customer feedback.
  • Identify developments at clients and translate them into improvements in SPIE Spectades ’ value proposition.
  • Initiate the sales process through cold acquisition, lead follow-up, tender platforms, networking events, client events, and presentations.
  • Manage accounts, build new customer relationships, and maintain existing partnerships.
  • Advise clients by developing long-term relationships, clearly presenting products and services, and aligning new solutions with customer needs.
  • Ensure accurate administration, including opportunities, account information, contracts, quotations, and correspondence.
  • Evaluate opportunity developments and plan expected closing dates.
  • Stay up to date on the latest product and market innovations, both internally and externally.
  • Aim to achieve commercial objectives and meet established sales targets.
  • Support and contribute to marketing activities.
  • Manage relationships with SPIE Spectades ’ strategic partners.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Completed bachelor’s degree, preferably in Industrial Engineering & Management, Commercial Economics, Business IT & Management, or a similar field.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with ICT products and services.
  • Proficiency in PC environments, particularly Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent command of German and English, both written and spoken.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license (B).

Experience

  • At least 5 years of work experience in a B2B environment.
  • Proven track record in a dynamic, fast-changing, high-growth environment.
  • Ability to communicate complex topics clearly and effectively to both clients and colleagues.

You take initiative when needed, present convincingly, and build professional relationships with ease. In addition, it is an advantage if you are a native German speaker, have experience with Salesforce or a similar CRM system, and/or knowledge of HxGN EAM or other Asset/Maintenance Management/CMMS solutions.
