About The Role

As Head of User Acquisition, you will lead a high-performance department delivering UA-as-a-Service to our product teams. You will centralize operations, drive efficiencies, and establish a unified strategy across paid traffic channels. You will mentor a team of UA Managers across our portfolio, acting as a strategic bridge between product, creative, and analytics. This is a leadership role suited for someone who thrives on scale, complexity, and data-driven execution.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Build and lead the centralized User Acquisition Department for multiple subscription products
  2. Define and own the overall UA strategy across platforms (Meta, TikTok, Google, Snapchat, Pinterest, etc.)
  3. Develop processes, SOPs, testing frameworks, and reporting systems
  4. Design UA OKRs/KPIs for success at department and individual levels
  5. Manage and mentor UA Managers embedded in different product teams
  6. Lead hiring, onboarding, training, and performance processes
  7. Foster a culture of performance, collaboration, and growth
  8. Oversee large-scale budgets, ensuring efficient CAC and positive ROAS
  9. Develop growth plans based on LTV:CAC, retention, onboarding, and ARPU
  10. Partner with data science for analytics and attribution models
  11. Own testing roadmap: A/B tests, geo-expansion, channel scaling, creative iteration
  12. Collaborate with product Directors to align UA strategies with business goals
  13. Work with creative leads on ad production using data-driven briefs
  14. Manage vendor relationships with advertising platforms, agencies, and tools

Qualifications

  1. 7+ years in performance marketing, with 3+ years in senior leadership overseeing UA at scale
  2. Experience with subscription-based D2C products across multiple verticals
  3. Proven track record managing multi-million dollar monthly paid budgets
  4. Strong leadership with experience managing 5–7 UA professionals
  5. Deep platform knowledge: Meta, TikTok, Google, Pinterest, Snapchat, etc.
  6. Experience building and scaling teams, setting KPIs, and leading centrally
  7. Strong analytical skills; proficiency in Tableau, Google Analytics, Excel, SQL
  8. High-energy, results-driven, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
  9. Hands-on leadership style, fully engaged and accountable
  10. High standards with a focus on excellence and rapid iteration
  11. Management skills: hiring, coaching, developing talent, accountability
  12. Profit-focused mindset, understanding UA as a growth engine

Location

Ruby Labs operates within CET (Central European Time). Applicants from any country are welcome if within ±4 hours of CET for collaboration purposes.
