Job summary

Baker Hughes in Qatar is hiring a General Wireline Field Specialist to provide wellsite support and guidance to our global customers. You will solve problems using the latest technology while following HSE policies and company values.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering and 5 years in Wireline Services, with Open Hole/Cased Hole experience, offshore exposure, and collaboration with Baker Hughes teams. You will perform maintenance and assist in completions at workshop and on site.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering with 5 years of experience in Wireline Services
Have worked with Baker Hughes
Open Hole / Cased Hole experience
Offshore experience, rigless preferred
Industry knowledge and product line training

Responsibilities

Working under minimal supervision on day-to-day wellsite activity following instructions
Evaluating work upon completion to ensure objectives are met
Assisting in providing completions logging and completions services at the workshop and wellsite
Carrying out minor maintenance of equipment and assisting in actuating completions equipment
Conducting all business activities in accordance to HSE policies, legal compliance, and core values
Executing all responsibilities safely at well site per equipment and logistics manuals
