Job summary

SPIE Global Services Energy Qatar is seeking an experienced telecom maintenance professional to support offshore Oil & Gas operations. You will develop maintenance plans, manage assets, and provide design and installation support to ensure reliable telecom services.

The role requires 10+ years in Oil & Gas or Petrochemicals and at least 5 years offshore telecom maintenance experience, with strong English communication and the ability to work in a multicultural team.

Qualifications

• Higher Secondary School Education with a 3-year Technical Diploma or Degree (HNC, HND, or equivalent).
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical facilities.
• At least 5 years of offshore telecom maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of telecom systems, maintenance planning, and installation activities.
• Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Ability to work independently and in a multicultural environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain telecom maintenance plans and procedures.
• Manage telecom assets, spare parts, and inventory.
• Provide telecom design, engineering, and installation support.
• Support onboarding of new operational maintenance services.
• Review and update drawings and layouts for equipment installations.
• Coordinate space, power supply, cable routing, and equipment location requirements.
• Contribute to risk assessments and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with company safety and operational standards.
