Job summary

SPIE Global Services Energy Qatar is seeking an experienced telecom maintenance professional to support offshore Oil & Gas operations. You will develop maintenance plans, manage assets, and provide design and installation support to ensure reliable telecom services.

The role requires 10+ years in Oil & Gas or Petrochemicals and at least 5 years offshore telecom maintenance experience, with strong English communication and the ability to work in a multicultural team.

Qualifications

Higher Secondary School Education with a 3-year Technical Diploma or Degree (HNC, HND, or equivalent).
Minimum 10 years of experience in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical facilities.
At least 5 years of offshore telecom maintenance experience.
Knowledge of telecom systems, maintenance planning, and installation activities.
Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Fluent in English (written and spoken).
Ability to work independently and in a multicultural environment.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain telecom maintenance plans and procedures.
Manage telecom assets, spare parts, and inventory.
Provide telecom design, engineering, and installation support.
Support onboarding of new operational maintenance services.
Review and update drawings and layouts for equipment installations.
Coordinate space, power supply, cable routing, and equipment location requirements.
Contribute to risk assessments and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with company safety and operational standards.
