Job summary
SAUR Doha is seeking a Senior Technical & Asset Manager to lead six functions: Asset Management, GIS, Handover/Takeover, IT/OT, Innovation, and Technical Studies, ensuring reliability and digitalization of water and wastewater infrastructure.
You will coordinate with clients, contractors, maintenance teams and SAUR Group resources, driving continuous improvement; English fluency is required, Arabic is a plus.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Environmental or related field.
- 10–15 years in asset management, infrastructure operations, or utilities.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong knowledge of asset management, lifecycle planning, reliability methods (RCM, FMECA, RCA).
- Good understanding of GIS and spatial asset management.
- Experience with commissioning and handover of assets; documentation management.
- Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Asset Management: lifecycle optimization, asset inventory, preventive maintenance; CMMS/Maximo; reliability; RCA.
- GIS: manage sewer, stormwater, groundwater and TSE data, mapping, maintenance support.
- Handover/Takeover: readiness of new facilities, commissioning, documentation, training, spare parts, HSE prep.
- IT & OT: manage IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, SCADA, PLC/RTU, automation, telemetry.
- Innovation: digital transformation, smart asset management, predictive maintenance, AI, remote monitoring.
- Technical Studies: engineering studies, improvement proposals, technical-commercial offers, operational defect resolution.
- Leadership: manage multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with clients, contractors, surveyors, SAUR Group resources.
