Job summary

SAUR Doha is seeking a Senior Technical & Asset Manager to lead six functions: Asset Management, GIS, Handover/Takeover, IT/OT, Innovation, and Technical Studies, ensuring reliability and digitalization of water and wastewater infrastructure.

You will coordinate with clients, contractors, maintenance teams and SAUR Group resources, driving continuous improvement; English fluency is required, Arabic is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Environmental or related field.
• 10–15 years in asset management, infrastructure operations, or utilities.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong knowledge of asset management, lifecycle planning, reliability methods (RCM, FMECA, RCA).
• Good understanding of GIS and spatial asset management.
• Experience with commissioning and handover of assets; documentation management.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.

• Asset Management: lifecycle optimization, asset inventory, preventive maintenance; CMMS/Maximo; reliability; RCA.
• GIS: manage sewer, stormwater, groundwater and TSE data, mapping, maintenance support.
• Handover/Takeover: readiness of new facilities, commissioning, documentation, training, spare parts, HSE prep.
• IT & OT: manage IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, SCADA, PLC/RTU, automation, telemetry.
• Innovation: digital transformation, smart asset management, predictive maintenance, AI, remote monitoring.
• Technical Studies: engineering studies, improvement proposals, technical-commercial offers, operational defect resolution.
• Leadership: manage multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with clients, contractors, surveyors, SAUR Group resources.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Environmental or related field); Master's degree is an advantage.
• Minimum 10–15 years of experience in asset management, infrastructure operations, or utilities (water/wastewater sector preferred), in the water or wastewater fields.
• Proven experience managing multidisciplinary teams across engineering, maintenance, GIS, IT/OT, and technical projects.
• Strong knowledge of Asset Management principles, lifecycle planning, reliability engineering (RCM, FMECA, RCA), and preventive maintenance strategies.
• Good understanding of GIS systems and spatial asset management.
• Experience in commissioning, handover/takeover of infrastructure assets, and technical documentation management.
• Strong analytical, project management, and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in English. Arabic fluency is an advantage
• Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
