Job summary

Emerson is seeking a Warehouse Coordinator based in Qatar to support efficient warehouse operations, inventory accuracy, and logistics coordination. The role requires collaboration with Procurement and Operations to ensure timely material replenishment and compliance with quality and safety standards.

The position involves coordinating daily activities, maintaining documentation, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across MEA operations.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Commerce, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, inventory management, or supply chain functions.
• Experience with ERP systems such as WMS, SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong organizational, planning, and documentation skills.
• Good communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily warehouse operations including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching materials and equipment.
• Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are documented and processed per procedures.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through stock checks and reconciliation activities.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with Procurement and Operations for replenishment.
• Organize storage areas to maximize space utilization and traceability.
• Prepare and maintain shipping, receiving, inventory, and logistics documentation.
• Ensure materials are labeled, stored, and handled per quality and safety requirements.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and shipment issues.
• Support project teams by ensuring timely availability and delivery of materials and tools.
• Promote compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements and maintain safety.
• Generate inventory reports and warehouse performance metrics for management.
• Coordinate returns, repairs, disposals, and transfers as required.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse efficiency.
