Job summary

Power International Holding (PIH) is seeking a Storekeeper Assistant in Qatar to bolster warehouse operations. You will assist in receiving, storing and issuing goods, maintaining accurate records and helping fulfill orders efficiently.

The role emphasizes inventory accuracy, safe procedures, and teamwork with warehouse staff and drivers. GCC experience is a plus; candidates should be capable of physical tasks and maintaining orderly storage areas.

Qualifications

• Understanding of inventory management principles and stock reconciliations.
• Ability to receive, store and issue goods with accuracy.
• Familiar with warehouse safety procedures and equipment handling.
• Effective communication with warehouse staff, suppliers and drivers.

Responsibilities

• Assist in receiving shipments and verify contents against purchase orders or packing lists.
• Organize and store goods in designated warehouse locations for efficient space utilization.
• Assist in picking and packing orders accurately and timely for shipment.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies between physical stock and system records.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse, including sweeping floors and storage areas.
• Assist in loading and unloading trucks or containers using appropriate equipment or manual labor.
• Prepare and label goods for shipment or storage according to procedures.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks on warehouse equipment and report issues.
• Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with warehouse staff and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
