Job summary

Madre Integrated Engineering in Doha is seeking a Video Surveillance (CCTV) & Servers Engineer to lead diagnostics, VMS administration, storage and recording servers. You will manage firmware updates, system configurations and OEM support cases under SLA, while mentoring Level-2 staff.

The role requires 5+ years hands-on experience with the CCTV system, strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, and a disciplined approach to documentation and change management.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on with the specified system in similar settings.
• Milestone certification via authorised channel.
• Experience with VMS, storage and servers.
• Strong diagnostic and root-cause capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced diagnostics at system, application and infrastructure level.
• Carry out root-cause analysis and own the permanent fix.
• Open and manage OEM back-to-back support cases under the same ticket and SLA.
• Own configuration, firmware and software maintenance and coordinate releases.
• Own preventive-maintenance procedures and predictive monitoring.
• Maintain design documents, SOPs and knowledge base; mentor Level-2 staff.
• Provide technical assessment to the Change Advisory Board for system changes.
• Maintain the VMS, recording servers, storage and camera estate; verify recording, retention and failover; support analytics feeds.

• Open and manage OEM back-to-back support casesunder the same ticket and SLA clock.
• Own configuration, firmware and softwaremaintenance and coordinate manufacturer releases and upgrades.
• Own the preventive-maintenance procedures andpredictive monitoring for the system.
• Maintain the design documents, SOPs andknowledge base; mentor and sign off Level-2 competence.
• Provide technical assessment to the ChangeAdvisory Board for changes to the system.
• Maintain the VMS, recording servers, storage andthe large camera estate; verify recording, retention and failover; supportanalytics feeds.
