Job summary

Electro Power Systems in Doha, Qatar is seeking an experienced UPS technician to lead installation, testing and commissioning of single-phase and three-phase UPS STS systems at client sites.

Role includes preventive maintenance, battery health checks, thermal imaging, firmware updates, and rapid response to outages. Prior SOCOMEC experience and NOC certification are preferred and UPS after-sales support is required.

Qualifications

• SOCOMEC UPS experience preferred; NOC is required; UPS after sales.

Responsibilities

• Installation & Commissioning: Supervise and execute the installation, testing, and commissioning of UPS STS systems at client sites.
• Maintenance: Perform routine preventive maintenance services, including battery health checks, thermal imaging, and firmware updates.
• Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair hardware and software faults on UPS STS systems.
• Emergency Support: Respond promptly to emergency breakdown calls to minimize client downtime.
• Additional Qualifications: SOCOMEC experience is preferred; NOC is required; UPS AFTER SALES.
