Job summary

BAE Systems in Qatar seeks an experienced Rectification Controller to lead a skilled maintenance team focused on Typhoon aircraft systems. You will ensure accurate maintenance and up-to-date airworthiness records while progressing ESS State Board forecasts and recovery times.

The role includes briefing pilots on aircraft limitations and directing complex rectification tasks. Responsibilities include supervising maintenance activities, maintaining regulatory compliance, and delivering on-time

Qualifications

• Engineering Apprenticeship or a recognised Engineering Degree with aeronautical/related disciplines.
• Minimum 2 years supervisory level experience.
• Broad knowledge of aviation safety standards and operating practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective leadership and supervision to team members.
• Ensure maintenance activities and airworthiness records are correctly documented.
• Perform rectifications control tasking and update ESS State Board with progress and forecasts.
• Brief squadron authorised pilots on aircraft limitations and recovery actions.
• Oversee maintenance/diagnostic tasks including ground handling, servicing, modifications and tests.
• Monitor delivery targets and escalate issues affecting schedule or program impact.
• Maintain staff competence and adherence to regulatory requirements.
