Job summary

Qatar Airways Group is seeking a Transport Duty Supervisor to oversee fleet maintenance coordination, driver training, and loading operations at Doha. You will manage staff rosters, overtime, and vacation planning while ensuring safe, on-time flights and adherence to ramp Safety regulations.

Qualifications

• High School qualification or Diploma with 3 years of related experience or Bachelor's degree with 2 years.
• Experience in staff rostering/allocations and driver training.
• Proficient in English; basic food safety training.

Responsibilities

• Manage staff, rostering, overtime, and vacation planning to ensure OTP and high service standards.
• Supervise delivery to Complex, ULH, VIP, Charters, Private and ad hoc operations to ensure safe, on-time operation.
• Monitor Ramp Safety, Security and Marshalling procedures of High Loaders and airside staff compliance.
• Ensure adherence to food safety procedures and customer standards.
• Suggest training programs and provide feedback for succession planning.
• Coordinate action plans for emergencies and manpower changes or aircraft changes.
• Lead Customer Service Agents, Loading Assistants and Equipment Operators to load/offload flights.
• Provide prompt information to superiors for incidents requiring action.

Transport Duty Supervisor is responsible for managing the maintenance activities of QACC Fleet, training of drivers and loading assistants, and to ensure adherence to Ramp Safety Regulations. You will manage Voyage Reports (VR) investigation, Staff Roster, overtime, vacation planning, and deputizes in the absence of the Duty Officer. Provides official reports and promotes high standards of corporate values throughout the full cycle of operations.

Accountabilities:

• Manage staff, operational functions, meal/product uplifts, On-Time Performance (OTP) and Customer Liaison to ensure that customers are provided with highest standard service
• Supervise and handles delivery to any Complex, Ultra-Long Haul (ULH), VIP, Charters, Private and other ad hoc operations, as and when required in order to ensure safe and on-time operation.
• Monitor adherence to Ramp Safety, Security and Marshalling procedures of High Loaders while performing airside duties in order to ensure that ramp operations staff fully comply with ramp safety requirements.
• Ensure no deviation in quality of service or customer standards by following the food safety procedures, security procedures and the agreed standards between QACC and its customers.
• Suggest training programs for all new and existing staff and provides timely feedback for succession planning.
• Coordinates and prepares action plans and resolution in the event of Operational Emergencies / (Additional) Manpower requirement/Aircraft Changes/HL Technical issues.
• Lead Customer Service Agents, Loading Assistants and Equipment Operators to load/offload flights as per schedule and procedures.
• Provide prompt information to superiors for any incidents and events that requires immediate action/decision.
