Job summary

Ecojob is seeking an experienced Executive Chef specialized in Malayalee cuisine to lead the kitchen in Lusail, Qatar. This temporary role offers a monthly salary of 1400 USD and requires immediate availability. Accommodation is provided for the contract duration.

The candidate will create and execute traditional Malayalee dishes, manage kitchen staff, and maintain high culinary standards while overseeing inventory and budgeting in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years as an Executive Chef in a similar setting.
• Extensive knowledge of Malayalee cuisine, including spices and techniques.
• Fluent in English (speaking, reading and writing).

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and execute traditional Malayalee dishes.
• Manage kitchen staff, including training, scheduling and performance management.
• Ensure high quality standards are met at all times.
• Order and maintain inventory of food and supplies.
• Create menu items and specials based on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
• Monitor food costs and budgeting for the kitchen department.
