Job summary

Sidra Medicine in Doha, Qatar is seeking a Technician for the Sterile Processing Department (CSSD). You will reprocess all reusable instrumentation, including disassembly, cleaning, inspection, assembly, packaging and sterilization to support surgical teams.

In this role you will also receive consumable supplies for procedures and assemble them with instrumentation into the case cart, ensuring readiness and compliance with sterility standards and hospital policies.

Responsibilities

• Reprocesses all reusable instrumentation in the CSSD.
• Disassembles, decontaminates, inspects, assembles, packages and sterilizes instruments.

The Technician - Sterile Processing Department under the Sterile Processing (CSSD) reprocesses all reusable instrumentation (flexible endoscopes etc.) which includes disassembly of the instrument, decontamination, inspection, assembly, packaging and sterilization. The Technician also picks consumable supplies for surgical procedures and assembles them along with the instrumentation into the case cart.
