Job summary

Aspetar Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Hospital in Qatar is seeking a CSSD Supervisor to oversee all sterilisation processes and train staff. You will ensure compliance with quality standards and act as a resource for Central Processing customers.

The role requires leadership of the CSSD team, coordination with infection control, and monitoring expenses and purchasing. A nursing degree with sterilization qualifications is preferred, with English proficiency mandatory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing and valid professional license.
• Sterilization qualification is ideal.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the work of the sterilisation staff and quality controls.
• Develop work schedules for the CSSD department.
• Maintain links with the infection control department and apply best practice sterilisation techniques.
• Provide financial records of all expenses and evaluate and order CSSD products.
• Oversee staff recordings of department expenses and submit to finance monthly.
• Implement departmental policies and procedures aligned with hospital goals.
• Coordinate workshops and lectures on CSSD topics for internal and external professionals.
• Train staff and proctor/ administer sterilisation exams and ensure ongoing competency.
