We are urgently seeking a Senior Project Engineer with a minimum of 8 years of experience in water and wastewater treatment projects, particularly involving Reverse Osmosis (RO) plants, Sewage Treatment Plants (STP), pumping stations, and associated MEP systems. The role focuses on project coordination, technical management, stakeholder communication, and successful project execution throughout the project lifecycle.
Coordinate and manage day-to-day execution of water and wastewater treatment projects, including RO plants, STPs, pumping stations, and utility systems.
Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
Lead multidisciplinary coordination meetings and resolve technical and interface issues during project execution.
Review and coordinate technical submittals, shop drawings, material approvals, vendor documentation, and contractor proposals.
Monitor project progress, deliverables, schedules, and resource requirements to achieve project milestones.
Support project planning, procurement coordination, construction activities, testing, commissioning, and project handover.
Review equipment datasheets, P&IDs, PFDs, hydraulic calculations, and technical specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements.
Prepare project reports, technical correspondence, meeting minutes, and progress updates for management and clients.
Identify project risks, develop mitigation plans, and support change management activities.
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to project team members.
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related Engineering discipline.
Minimum 8 years of experience in project execution, engineering coordination, or project engineering roles within water and wastewater treatment projects.
Hands-on experience with RO plants, STPs, pumping stations, plumbing systems, and associated utility infrastructure.
Strong understanding of project lifecycle activities, including engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover.
Ability to independently coordinate project activities and resolve technical and execution-related challenges.
Familiarity with relevant engineering codes, QCS standards, specifications, and industry best practices.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and Microsoft Office applications.
Valid Qatar Engineering Registration (MMUP/MME).
Strong communication, stakeholder management, organizational, and report-writing skills.
Prior experience in EPC, water treatment, infrastructure, or utility projects will be an advantage.
