Job summary

Qatar National Bank is seeking a Taxation professional to coordinate withholding tax, ensure timely tax returns and payments across the group. The role involves collaboration with multiple divisions to meet tax compliance and planning objectives.

Responsibilities include assisting in WHT, preparing tax returns, liaising with IT for reporting needs, and providing timely information to auditors and regulators. A minimum 3 years in tax within accounting firms or banks is expected.

Qualifications

• University graduate in finance, banking, economics, mathematics or accountancy.
• CPA/CA or Taxation certificate is a plus.
• Minimum 3 years in a professional accounting firm/tax consultancy or major bank with taxation exposure.
• Strong English communication; Arabic or French desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate withholding tax compliance and WHT deductions.
• Assist in preparing and submitting bank tax returns.
• Liaise with divisions to ensure tax compliance and explain deviations.
• Support tax planning opportunities across the group.
• Provide information to auditors, tax authorities and risk functions as required.
